The name 21 Chromes holds a very special meaning. It was inspired by our founder’s son, Elijah, who has Down syndrome. Down syndrome occurs when a person has an extra copy of chromosome 21, making the name 21 Chromes a heartfelt tribute to Elijah and the inspiration behind this journey. The blue and yellow ribbon in our brand represents Down syndrome awareness and serves as a reminder of the purpose at the heart of everything we do.
